CA stresses importance of national security stability
Chief Adviser (CA) Professor Muhammad Yunus held a high-level meetingon Tuesday to assess the country’s law and order situation.
The meeting was held at the State Guest House Jamuna in the capital, with presiding over by the Chief Adviser Prof. Yunus.
Home Adviser Lt. Gen. (Retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain and National Security Adviser Dr. Khalilur Rahman were present at the meeting.
Top military officials, including Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Navy Chief Admiral Mohammad Nazmul Hassan and Air Force Chief Air Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, also participated alongside senior security personnel.
According to Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, senior security officials presented detailed reports on the current law and order situation throughout the country.
During the meeting, Chief Adviser Prof. Yunus emphasized the importance of maintaining a stable and secure environment, both in the capital and across the nation.
He also commended the security forces for their handling of several recent high-profile incidents.
